Foggy Night
After working late one night as I exited the ship, I found that a heavy fog had rolled in. Knowing the fog would add to the beauty of the ship, I decided to explore and take some pictures. The forward turrets are considered to be the "money shot", just looking down the massive barrels and the superstructure behind them. But with the fog obscuring the parking lot, Vincent Thomas Bridge, harbor activity and superstructure it really gives a more ominous aspect. The white parking lot light gives the Starboard side a greyscale quality, while the harbor lights give the Port side a rustic glow. The different colors meet almost exactly center line on the barely visible superstructure.
